In glamorous British fashion, Kate wore a stand-out decorative hat for Nicholas Van Cutsem's wedding to Alice Patton. Kate's love of blue really starts to show here with her paisley jacquard coat, navy satin pumps and snake embossed clutch, all in matching blue tints.

Kate opted to wear blue for another wedding, choosing a vibrant cobalt silk cocktail dress for the occasion. The British beauty looked sophisticated for the event with a black blazer and suede pumps. The real statement piece, of course, was Kate's extravagantly fabulous hat adorned with large feathers and tilted to the side for a chic look.

blue Issa dress sold out all over the UK—the princess-to-be perfected the art of looking regally stylish and sophisticated for her and William's engagement party. Kate teamed the now famous dress with black suede pumps and a newly-engaged mega-watt smile.

Kate battled the rain with style in a crisp navy skirt suit for her and William's visit to Witton County Park to demonstrate the importance of outdoor recreation. On the day before the wedding, Kate kept cool and collected in a casual ensemble. She wore a cute bird-printed black-and-white summer dress paired with a white ruffled jacket and wedges.

On her big day, Kate wowed millions worldwide with her romantic gown by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. The princess-like gown featured intricate embroidery and delicate lace. Many swooned as Kate stepped out of her car and debuted the dress that people had been speculating about for months.

Kate switched into a more party-friendly gown, also by Alexander McQueen, for her wedding reception. She opted for a simple strapless gown with bejeweled belt and angora shrug. It's totally Kate in its simplicity, but effortlessly chic.

Sure Kate has dozens of designers probably begging to clothe her, but that's just not her style. After an evening filled with decadent McQueen, she went right back to her high street shopping ways. To travel for a quick weekend getaway with Prince William, Kate opted for a cornflower blue dress by Zara and simple espadrille wedges.

When Michelle Obama came to visit, it was obviously going to be a battle of political fashionistas! Michelle opted for color while Kate stayed prim in a tan dress by another high street fave, Reiss. We'll call it for Kate since her dress sold out just hours after its debut.

Kate Middleton wowed at the Epsom Derby in a chic white ensemble. The ladylike style star wore a feminine full-skirted Reiss dress under a white tweed collarless Joseph jacket. Kate took her daytime attire to the next level with a taupe Whiteley's spectator and matching LK Bennett pumps.

Kate looked elegant overlooking the balcony of Buckingham Palce in a pure white Alexander McQueen Resort 2011 double-breasted coat. The regal coat, which emphasized her slender waist, was a sophisticated choice for the Trooping the Colour parade for the Queen's birthday. A black spectator and head of loose waves finished off the style.

Later in the day, Kate repeated a lovely black-and-white geometric print shift dress she's worn in the past to attend the wedding of Sam Waley-Cohen and Annabel Ballin. To update the look, she added a skinny belt, black satin clutch and of course, her lovely black spectator.

Kate departed the UK for her first overseas tour with Prince William as a married couple. The Duchess of Cambridge looked perfectly polished in a navy Roland Mouret Manon silk dress and Smythe blazer, which she accessorized with matching Manolos and a Mulberry Polly bag. Navy certainly is her color!

Kate looked remarkably fresh and well-rested upon her landing in Canada. The ladylike royal chose a navy lace dress Resort 2012 with 3/4 length sleeves, her go-to nude L.K. Bennett pumps and a voluminous half up hairstyle.

Kate and Wills kicked off their North American tour in style, with Kate wearing the same navy Issa dress she wore the day before the royal wedding. The dress' playful bird print tempered its ladylike cut.

Just because she's royalty doesn't mean Kate is above repeating her favorite looks! Case in point, the ivory ruffled Reiss dress she wore in her famous engagement portraits. To celebrate Canada Day, she teamed the ultra-popular frock with red Rupert Sanderson pumps, a crimson maple leaf spectator and the Queen's own maple leaf broach.

Kate continued to dazzle fashion fans in a simple but chic purple Issa dress. The draped detail around the waist hugged the Duchess' slender frame just perfectly. She accessorized the look with a black satin clutch and black pumps. To top it all off, Kate wore a maple leaf brooch—a lovely gesture to all her Canadian fans.

It's clear that Kate has quite an arsenal of chic sheath dresses! For a tree planing ceremony in Ottowa, Kate opted for a gray knee-length frock with an adorable collar detail. She kept the rest of the look simple, accessorizing with a light gray clutch and silver pumps.

No one travels in style quite like Kate Middleton. For her arrival in Calgary, Kate donned an ultra feminine day dress with whimsical covered buttons and puffed short sleeves. Not one for outrageous accessories, Kate finished off the look with her trusty L.K. Bennet nude pumps and a metallic box clutch.

Not everyone can pull off a bright green dress, but Kate does so with perfect ease and elegance.  Kate sported a jade-green frock by Diane von Furstenberg. To kick things up a notch, Kate deviated from her usual neutral clutch, opting instead for  an exotic lytton animal print clutch.

Kate simply exuded royal elegance at the BAFTA event in Los Angeles. She opted for a sweeping lilac gown by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, the same genius who designed her gorgeous wedding gown. Kate paired the pleated confection with a gold clutch and metallic Jimmy Choo heels.
