Hitting the stage at the Nokia Theatre LA Live venue, the 27-year-old offered up a fun-filled rendition of her hit single "The One That Got Away" to the crowd's delight.
Also a nominee at this year's AMAs, Katy was among the esteemed winners as she was presented the Pop/Rock Female award by Heidi Klum.
Miss Perry also finds herself in elite company while pitted against Adele, Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne and Taylor Swift for the grand prize of Artist of the Year.
