The Many Looks of Selena Gomez at the MTV Europe Awards

Former Disney starlet Selena Gomez raised some eyebrows with the skin-baring stage ensembles she donned at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards. The hostess with the mostest didn't hold back when it came to selecting her onstage looks, whether she was strapping up in leather or shimmering in sequins.

Selena kicked off the evening in a frothy Marchesa confection, showing off her impressive stems under an extremely short tulle hemline. Selena's relatively relaxed hairstyle kept her from looking too Toddlers and Tiaras for the red carpet.

Gomez hit a dramatic note in a print maxi dress with a sultry studded leather bodice, working the dress' thigh-high split with impressive grace. Youthful cascading curls helped to prevent the actress from going overboard with the bondage theme.

The red sequined halter jumpsuit Selena slipped into mid-show might have looked safe from the audience, but it was an entirely different story from the backview. The jumpsuit, created by NYC's The Blonds, bared the entirety of Selena's back! She added a bit more glitz with a Grainne Maher cascading gold necklace.

Selena looked like she'd stepped off the set of an '80s hip-hop video when she took to the stage in a black and gold zip-up jacket with metallic leggings and a pair of super sparkly pumps. We think Justin Bieber probably approved.

A significant number of audience members probably found themselves distracted from Selena's polished vocals by the purple spangled romper she sported during her song. Pantslessness is an epidemic these days.

Selena turned up the heat yet again in a pair of spangled hot pants and a draped yellow top, somehow managing to pull off "cute" with approximately 90 percent of her epidermis on display. It's an art.

We'd bet that Selena Gomez actually has an impressive golf game, given her general perfection, but it would probably be difficult to land a hole in one in a pair of chunky-heeled pumps like these.

Selena played the flirty sophisticate in a chartreuse bell-shaped dress, once again showing off her stems in a surprisingly ladylike fashion. A glittering statement necklace and a soft, low bun completed her look.

Sparkly platform pumps complemented the jeweled harness built into this delicious-looking dress, which featured a yummy assortment of melons, pears, apples and cherries mixed into its print skirt. Yum!
