The global socialites who are the future of ethical fashion

Eugenie Niarchos, Tatiana Santo Domingo, Dana Alikhani and Margharita Missoni attend the launch of Muzungu Sisters fashion venture, which is the brainchild of Tatiana and Dana

Tatiana Santo Domingo

Think a latter day Bianca Jagger but substitute rock royalty for the real thing.

The Colombian heiress is dating Andrea Casiraghi, the son of Princess Caroline of Monaco and is best friends with her daughter Charlotte.

Her own family connections are pretty impressive too. She's the daughter of the late Julio Mario Santo Domingo, one of Latin country's most influencial businessman of the last 50 years

Beatrice Borromeo

Impeccable breeding and exquisite looks are common currency in the Monaco royal family.  And Beatrice Borromeo, the companion of Princess Caroline's youngest son Pierre, has that in spades.

The beautiful blonde is part of the Italian Borromeo family dynasty.

Beatrice, who attended the principality's royal wedding with him in 2011, started her career as a model, featuring for massive fashion houses such as Valentino and Cavalli. She is currently studying International Politics at Columbia University.

Olympia Scarry
The striking American was once connected to Andrea Casiraghi, after they appeared together at a red carpet event, but it was unclear if they were more than friends.

Vienna-based Olympia is the grandaughter of the famous children's illustrator Richard Scarry. Following in her father's footsteps she too is dedicated to art.

Her passion for art has seen her create some extraordinary pieces, which have been noted for their unusual use of materials to create texture

Eugenie Niarchos

The grandaughter of late Greek shipping mulitmillionaire Stavros Niarchos, Eugenie (centre) was born in New York.

She grew up in Paris, where she is a regular fixture on the society circuit in the company of Tatiana (left) and the two girls have contact lists that include the likes of shoe maestro Christian Louboutin (right).

Eugenie has already made her first steps in the fashion industry by teaming up with Gaia Repossi to design a jewellery collection

Margherita Missoni

Italian beauty Margherita is the last link in the Missoni dynasty, which has seen the family dedicate themselves to fashion for more than half a century.

Her grandparents founded the Italian fashion house of Missoni in 1953, and like the rest of her family she has been involved in the family's fashion business from a young age

Dasha Zhukova

Dasha, seen at Cannes with Gwen Stefani, was born in Russia to the well known businessman Alexander Radkin Zhukov, but spent most of her childhood in America with her mother.

Her partner is Russian businessman Roman Abramovich. The two have a child together, named Aaron.

But the budding entrepreneur isn't content with just spending the millions of the men in her life.

She came out of UCLA with a degree in Slavic studies and literature, and in 2008 went on to found the non-profit making organisation, the IRIS foundation, aiming to promote contemporary culture.

And she's launched the Garage Center for Contemporary Culture in Moscow which has become a prominent venue for modern art.

She has also been involved with several ventures in the fashion world, including some designing and was also appointed editor of fashion magazine Pop

Camilla Al-Fayed
The daughter of Harrods owner Mohammed Al-Fayed and his Finnish wife - socialite and former model  Heini Wathén - Camilla grew up in the family mansion in Surrey, West London.

Despite a good private education, Camilla, Donatella Versace, made the decision not to continue her studies at college or university.

At 18, she opted to move out of the family home and moved into an apartment in Park Lane, London.

Although she has had offers from various TV channels and fashion magazines she has turned them down to work on charity events and focus on the family business

Gaia Repossi

At 25, Gaia – born in Turin – already has a glittering career.

Since the age of 20 she has worked as the artistic director of the jewellery house Repossi, whose clients include the Royal house of Monaco.

One of her creations has been the engagement ring of Princess Charlene. This jewellery firm was founded by her grandfather, Alberto Repossi, in 1920.

Gaia studied anthropology but decided that she wanted to dedicate her career to being a jeweller, and she has proved this is her forte as she has managed to reflect her youthful spirit in the designs of the brand

Bianca Brandolini
Bianca, 24, belongs to a well known family of high Italian society, and is the niece of the Fiat tycoon, Gianni Agnelli.

The Italian beauty, pictured with Scarlett Johansson, is a devoted fan of fashion weeks in Paris and Milan, and little by little her style has become one of the most imitated and commented upon in blogs.

But for the moment, she is only flirting with fashion from the first row, and she has not yet followed in the footsteps of her mother – Georgina – who worked for Valentino, or her sister Coco – who worked with Oscar de la Renta and Alberta Ferretti

Coco Brandolini
Like Bianca, Coco is the daughter of Count Ruy and Countess Georgina Brandolini d'Adda.

She is not only a fashion icon but the muse of Valentino for many years.

Like her mother, she has always worked in the world of fashion and is currently a consultant for designer Alberta Ferretti

The Clarins Sisters

Known as the “Clarins sisters”, these four beauties born in Paris are the grand daughters of the founder of the Clarins group, Jacques Courtin-Clarins, and they have burst into the fashion world with force.

Virginia and Claire, 27 and 25 years old respectively, are the daughters of Christian – the worldwide president of the cosmetics company.

The twins, Prisca and Jenna, 25 years old, are the daughters of Olivier – the brother of Christian and manager of the family business
